About replacement parts

Every so often a post appears about replacement parts...
Does anyone know if you can order say just Kirsten's pantelettes (my '87 Kirsten's are being held up by a pin because the elastic is gone) or jst Marisol's Meet outfit (my sis really likes it but doesn't feel want to have to buy another doll)

I don't know about Marisol. I think I read here, no replacement parts are availible. As an LE, they may not want to stockpile parts.

Kirsten's stuff I'm sure you can get. I just reordered Felicity's Meet dress, and shift (it's sold seperatly) without any problems at all. They told me all the historicals meet clothing is availible.

If you want to fix Kirsten's pantalettes, it's REALLY easy. Just hook a safety pin to a piece of elastic, and thread it though the waistband. When you get to the end, tie the elastic together so it doesn't come back out.

I also remember the post about no replacement parts for Marisol. There's no harm in asking CS, though. I ordered Felicity's meet shoes not too long ago, so they probably have Kirsten's pantalettes if you just want new ones.

I called AG CS and they said no replacement parts at least not her meet outfit. [img]confused.gif[/img]

Nothing from Lindsey, Kailey nor Marisol is available as a replacement part. And unlike all the other dolls, their meet outfits wee not/ are not sold separately, their meet outfit is a major part of what makes them a Limited Edition.

As for Kirsten's pantalettes, you would need to call the 800 catalog number and see if they are in stock. Almost everything is offered as a replacement, it just needs to be in stock at the time that you call. So even if you call now and they don't have them, wait until the next time you're placing an order and see if they have them then. Be sure to ask the order processor for the product code for the individual item you want, just for your easier reference.

As long as it is in stock they will sell it to you with no problem.
Obviously, retired items and LE are not included, but if you need a partial set and it is available you can get it.
Only you need to call. They don't do web or at AGP.

Regarding Kirsten pantalletes (sp?): in that historical time, they did not have elastic, so you may be able to bring it to further historical accuracy by replacing the elastic with ribbon in the way suggested in a previous posting and leaving a tail on each en to tie on a bow.

then you can just tell them the number and it will be faster and easier. Some reps don't know the products as well as we do.

They told me nothing was available for Marisol yet.

However, I did order Lindsey's helment and gloves, and Kailey's missing bracelet.They had a few things for Kailey.

Maybe eventually they will have some of Marisol's things.
